Most children know someone who has cancer, but few understand this illness - what it is, how it is treated, and how they can support someone that is on a cancer journey. In this session, you will learn about the Cancer Curriculum Initiative, a project dedicated to equipping teachers with age-appropriate, scientifically-accurate, and engaging educational materials that can be used to help students understand cancer.
