I tried Standard-Based Grading (I Can statements and test redos after extra practice questions) in my first year teaching middle school math and saw a huge difference in student learning. I'll be sharing what I learned and developed over the course of the year with the hope that many of those who attend will be willing to share their ideas and challenges as well. The material I developed will be for 7th grade math through Algebra but the ideas area applicable to math at a wide range of levels.
